This volume contains copies of all the contracts of the Turners Falls Company, relating to the use of water for power, in force January 1, 1887. It also contains an indenture with the Inhabitants of Montague concerning sewers, and an indenture with the New Haven and Northampton Company relating to its right of way. These are inserted as the future operations under these respective indentures may have a bearing upon the future use of the canal. "James R. Baldwin" is on the inside front cover. There are inserts at the back and the front of the book.
