This scrapbook consists of newpaper articles pertaining to trolleys from a bygone era. There is a description of the Seashore Trolley Museum and another article about the history of Lowell Transportation. Another newspaper article talks about the "5 cent Trolley ride once paid the bills." The St. Charles Street car in New Orleans, La is shown still going strong as of 1977 (and still in 2014). There is an interview with a former horsecar driver who at age 95 ( in 1968) recalled the birth and death of the trolley line in New Bedford, Ma. Trolleys from around the country are depicted in this scrapbook and also some old postcards.
