This scrapbook contains newspaper articles focusing on the impact the clothing manufacturing company KGR had on Lawrence. Many of these newspaper clippings (from the Eagle-Tribune) describe the importance of Chet Sidell, President and CEO of KGR. The scrapbook also contains distinctions and awards he received. He received a letter from president Bill Clinton thanking him for his participation in a NAFTA briefing, and Historic Massachusetts awarded him the Charles W. Elliot Award for excellence in community planning. The letter from Bill Clinton and the letter from Historic Massachusetts are both included in the scrapbook. However, the majority of the documents in the scrapbook are newspaper clippings.
