This scrapbook was compiled to honor President John F. Kennedy. On the back of the front cover when the scrapbook is open, it is written that this scrapbook was put together to honor the late President John F. Kennedy because he died shortly before troop #458 was formed. This scrapbook contains little about Kennedy, save for one picture. It is a collection of girl scout memorabilia, from 1964 and 1965. It contains newspaper articles describing girl scout events occurring in Lawrence and neighboring towns. It also has numerous posters showing girl scout uniforms of different girl scout associations in different countries. Other items in the scrapbook include numerous photographs of girl scout members and events.

The pages are separated from the spine. The pages are brittle and easily disintegrate. The cover shows signs of wear including markings and rounded corners.
