This textile is a long, narrow hat that was originally part of a Masonic uniform. It has culed edges on the front and back with elaborate embroidery and designs (including a star) on one side. The top and back of the hat are adorned with fake black feathers. This hat was probably worn in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
