Title
Elementary Manual of Chemistry
The object of this manual is to "facilitate the teaching of chemistry by the experimental and inductive method." In the Preface of the Manual it is stated that "there is little original
in the book except its arrangement and method and its general tone." There is a note at the beginning of the book under Preface to the Revised Edition, that from time to time corrections have been made that have come to the attention of the authors and that the present edition has been revised. The book was owned by Dana W. Scott, L.H.S. class of 1881.
