Block 2 Parcel 1. 40-48 Haverhill Street, Lawrence, MA. Front view of a three story building owned by Thomas and Eileen Lucas. Located on the first floor is "Lucas Cafe" and "Matterhorn." An "Esso" sign is visible on the right of the photo. Garden-Union-Allen project. Corresponding paperwork is located in the 2nd floor stacks in the Urban Renewal collection (1997.060 and 1997.061). The boxes are organized by streets. The streets are in numerical order. All buildings featured in the Urban Renewal photographs have since been destroyed.
