The Quota Club Nursing Scholarship float rides in the Lawrence Centennial Parade of 1953. There are several nurses riding on the float and there are signs reading, "We Share QUOTA", "QUOTA Nursing Scholarship", "Helps Train a Nurse a Year". A thrift shop sponsored by the sisterhood of Temple Emanuel is visible in the background. There is also a sign advertising the Circus coming to Lawrence on Tuesday, August 21, haning in a storefront window. There are many spectators watching the parade.
