Title
Spools of Thread and Silk with Needles
This includes multiple spools of thread and silk for darning. The thread is in various colors, including black, pink, and red. They were created by several different companies, including Clark's, Belding Heminway Co., and the Brainerd & Armstrong Co. Some of the smaller spools are in an off-white cardboard box that says " "HANDY" 12 Spools Assorted, Darning Silk, 10 Yard Spools, Belding Heminway Co., U.S.A." Inside the box, along with the spools is a set of Dix and Rands needles for sewing. They are in a paper container, decorated with stars, that says they are high grade needles: "These needles are warranted to excel all other brands in finish and quality. The eyes are beveled and gauged thereby making sewing much easier."
