This is a black and white photograph of the front of the "new" Lawrence Public Library as seen from the Common at the corner of Haverhill and Lawrence Streets. The view is from Haverhill Street.
The large metal object in front of the library has been moved and is now located at the Patricia McGovern Transportation Center. There was some controversy over the metal object when it was first installed.
