This is a high school senior portrait of Aleck T. Herron. He graduated from Lawrence high School in 1906 with Charles Lawrence Patterson. This photo was donated along with 36 portraits of the class of 1906. Aleck is standing at a 45 degree angle from the camera and visible from the knees up. He poses with his left hand in his pocket and eyes facing the camera. He is wearing dark pants, a drak unbuttoned jacket, white shirt, striped tie, and light patterned vest. There is a pocket watch chain visible under his jacket. He wears a pin on his jacket pocket which is a dark diamond, with a lighter diamond in the center, and a bird on top. The same pin is worn by some of the other students in his class.
