This is a rectangular Monarch Tea tin, which was created by Reid, Murdoch and Co. of Chicago, IL (established 1853). The sides of the container show pictures of people working in crop fields with lakes, trees, and mountains in the background. On the lid and sides there is also a seal with a lion's head on it. Around the seal it says "Our Highest Quality, Trade Mark Registered."
