This photograph shows a group of people at the United States Embassy in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Of the five people in the photograph, three are identified: Mayor Lawrence LeFebre, Lawrence Downtown Coordinator Jose Zaiter, and Providence, RI mayor Buddy Chianci. Mayor LeFebre was in Santo Domingo for the inauguration of the new president of the Dominican Republic, President Salvador Blanco. While in Santo Domingo Mayor LeFebre also met its mayor, Pena Gomez.
