Personal Histories by Working-Class Organizers
A collection of first-hand accounts describing the struggles and successes of union organizers since the 1930s. A total of twenty-two interviews are included, mostly from labor organizers active during the 1930s and 1940s. Each organizer is introduced by a short biography and then proceeded by a longer autobiographical essay, written in their own hand.
