Photograph
This photograph shows two children in native dress taking part at the Mahrajan Festival. This is a yearly festival put on by the Lebanese over the Labor day weekend and features their ethnic foods prepared by the women. The festival originally took place on some land (cemetery) owned by the Lebanese on No. Lowell St. in Methuen but later moved to its present location at St. Anthony's Church on Amesbury St. Note the water pipe resting on a cinder block along with a glass lamp.
