To the manager or leader of the Band, Drum Corps, Drill Team, or Unit whose photograph appears on the reverse hereof:-
In view of the fact that it was a physical impossibility for but a very small percentage of the thousands of Legionnaires who just visited Chicago and attended the Legion's 15th Annual Convention to see copies of the hundreds of photographs we made of the mammoth Legion parade, we are sending you this rough, damaged proof photo of your well known organization so that all of your members might be enabled to see same and avail themselves of the opportunity thus afforded to order copies of this real souvenit of their Chicago visit.
All finished photos will be printed full size on 8 x 12 heavy quality photographic stock correctly titled and may be had for a very limited time (or until the negatives are filled away) at .75 cents each, 3 for $2.00 or .50 cents each in lots of a dozen or more.
For your assistance in promptly taking and sending in the order we will include for you a gold toned $1.50 sepia reproduction of this photo providing order is for a dozen or more copies and is sent us not later than 10 days after your receipt of this proof .
