Workmen posing outside work building. There is a child (young boy) in the photo who is probably the son of a worker.
There is a capstone in the building wall showing the year '1898' - it appears to be the construction date of the building.
Most of the workers are wearing overalls, and one is holding a long handled pitchfork.
