Humorous account of U. S. History. There was a note inside the book (since removed on February 6, 2016 and put with the accession record) which reads, "Good luck to you! Your son Claus, Erdmuth and Anne". Eartha Dengler's husband was Claus and her daughter, Anne. The note appears to be dated October 30, 1949. Eartha came to the US in 1951.
