"5 Lawrence High School seniors, all top students in their graduating class, have received Merrimack College's Accept the Challenge scholarship. With Richard J. Santagati, interim president of Merrimack, are Dai Luong, Trung Duong, Nga Nguyen, Claribel Ortega, and Roberto Veras. The Accept the Challenge scholarship covers tuition, room and board, and books for the students. In order to be eligible, students commit, from their first year of high school, to extra-curricular tutoring during the school year in English and other subjects. They also spend 4 to 6 weeks in a summer academic program at the North Andover campus
