"Germans. First Christmas." A man is standing in a fancily wall papered room. He is wearing a suit and tie and his arm is resting on a chair. On the chair is a pillow with a basket of cherries pictured on it. Next to the chair there is a table with a statue of a bird (a Cardinal?) on it. There is a lamp on the table as well. There are beads hanging from its lampshade. Perhaps these items are Christmas gifts.
