the Union Crossing Project
For the first time, the people of Lawrence, represented by the membership of Lawrence Community Works (LCW), are mill owners! Union Crossing is a current collaborative project with ”community” as the central focus. In the first phase, the development of Buildings #4 and 9 will create a new Lawrence neighborhood that will:
▸ Develop Lawrence's historic mills for Lawrence workers and families
▸ Provide family and workforce housing
▸ Support local economic development
▸ Set a standard for energy efficient and healthy development
▸ Build resident assets and wealth
▸ Promote education and wellness
Grieco Bros. and the Union Crossing Project have more in common than use of the physical space of Buildings #4 and 9. Each encompasses the vision of creating a sphere of influence by emphasizing innovation and quality products. Their shared values include:
