On Sunday, May 21, 2017, the Lawrence History Center is welcoming athletes of all abilities to its 4th Annual North Canal Classic 5k Run/Walk/Roll and Kids Canal Dash in the North Canal district of Lawrence to raise awareness of the History Center in the community, and to promote fitness and economic and cultural development in the city of Lawrence.
Net proceeds to support the Lawrence History Center and the installation of a new elevator in our main building to restore equal access for all who visit, no matter their abilities.
Join us on at 9:00am for a scenic run through the city's revitalization of the local parks and historic mill buildings!
